What has changed?
29 June saw Sacred Space move to a new server. This means that the entire site – including most of the other language versions - are delivered by new systems.
This work is part of a reorganisation of the site to help it to serve your prayer better. We are very glad to have been able to restore the prayer guides to the daily prayer. These elements have been missing for some time since a security breach led to the collapse of the site. They have often been looked for and are, we are glad to find, welcomed back by many of you.
As a result of the development work and restructuring, many addresses on the site had to change. If you are looking for content that you were previously able to access at Sacred Space the best solution will be to look for a link on the home page. Bearing in mind that some pages may not be available immediately and will be brought back online as soon as possible, while others will take longer.
Printing the prayer
The Living Space section of the site is running now at livingspace.sacredspace.ie. The necessary daily commentaries are delivered by the calendar as usual.
- All the current pages are available.
- A fuller list of pages will be offered in due course.
- The old archive pages are longer available.
Two novenas are currently available
The other novenas will be restored as soon as possible.
The old mobile page no longer exists. The prayer guides may not currently work on tablets or touch screens. Read more
We hope to be able to resume sending out a newsletter soon.
What about music and other options?
We continue to work on the site and hope to introduce a number of user-selectable options before too long. The beta version of the daily prayer was in use until recently and was helpful in gathering reaction and suggestions from the Sacred Space community
